If you can't make the Pet aFair, check out this meetup group that welcomes ALL breeds of dogs. Best Friends Briarwood hosts many different groups on different Saturday's (ie, Bulldogs, small dogs). We fall into the large dog. Your pup must be socialized and have all shots and vaccinations. Info is below:

There are MILLIONS of homeless American Pit Bull
Terriers out there as it is, therefor I choose not to
support breeding at this time. Responsible
breeding has created the breeds as we know them,
and is what insures our breeds future. Even so,
I do not support everyone with a "champion" trying
to create litters. This just adds to the problem
2) Information about any type of dog fighting.
3) Negative media hype. There is far too much
ridiculous, in-accurate, biased hype surrounding
the breed in our area. Instead, I will be focusing
on positive news, and how to stop the
irresponsible owners, bad breeding, etc. from
feeding the negative media craze.
